Dyrected is now in public beta

After months of building in private with a small group of developers, we're opening Dyrected to everyone today.

What's in the beta

The public beta includes everything in our Starter and Studio cloud plans — the full schema-as-code engine, the embedded Next.js and Nuxt adapters, the admin UI, and our TypeScript SDK.

Self-hosting has always been free and that doesn't change. If you want to run Dyrected on your own infrastructure, clone the repo, follow the setup guide, and you're live.

What we're still working on

The beta is real software that real teams are using in production — but there are rough edges. The things we're actively improving:

  • Plugin system — third-party field types and adapters aren't available yet
  • Media optimisation — auto-resize and blurhash generation work, but the CDN integration is still in progress
  • Collaborative editing — multiple editors can work simultaneously but there's no conflict resolution yet

How to get started

Cloud: join early access at dyrected.com/early-access. No credit card required for the Maker tier.

Self-hosted: follow the quickstart in the docs. The embedded Next.js adapter is the fastest path if you're already in that ecosystem.

We're in Discord and respond to every message. Come say hi.
